The Alfred Beckley Chapter of Sons of Confederate Veterans takes care of the Beckley Family plot. About a year or two ago they repaired and painted the fence. They always make sure the Beckley plot is taken care of. However, the cemetary in general needs some help. Vandals have broken stones, stolen things, and broken into mausoleums there. It's a beautiful old cemetary, with some of the first families of Beckley buried there. We need to make sure it's taken care of.
