Though nearly in ruin, this structure is an excellent example of a utilarian building that required a lot of light, hence its many windows.

The caption under this photo said that Cool Ridge was named because of the cool temperatures. To my knowledge this area was supposed to be named after Calvin Coolidge but due to a spelling error on a letter, the name came out as Cool Ridge instead of Coolidge. Could someone research this further and find out for sure?
