remember this house as a child going trick or treating 80's most of us were scared to go near

Every year the adolescents of Glen White would remove the Lovely old iron gate from the front of the property and place it atop the old grill, the grill burned to the ground while it was still up there, afterwards the Thatchers (mine super) replaced it each year with a wodden gate, every winter we used the wood to build a fire to warm our hands as we waited for the bus to hop to the top of the hill, then ride our sled's back down. People that lived in the big house were always good to us children. One time the swimming pool in back broke and we all splashed downhill, some of us seriously hurt, hospital trips. Also, there was a murder in the apt that the caretakers lived in, don't remember the details.
